Our 34^th annual Penny Sale has come and gone and, once again, it was a great success.  Without the support of area businesses and residents this fundraiser could not happen.  We wish to thank all the businesses who made donations and those who attended the festivities.  This year, we moved the Penny Sale from the traditional first Friday of June as a courtesy to the Peterborough merchants who participate in First Friday festivities.  We also made some changes in the way we conduct the sale itself.  All of these procedural changes also took place as we were enthusiastically welcoming our new chief.  As you can see, it was a challenging year for those who plan our biggest fundraiser!  We are grateful for your patience and your continued support.  Our summer fund drive continues and we thank in advance all of the townspeople who will continue to support us in any way they can.  It has been and exciting and challenging few months for Peterborough Fire & Rescue.  We have not missed a beat in providing the excellent service that the town has come to expect from us.  We couldn’t do it without generous public support.
