Aquarius Museum Remembrance Walkway

The Aquarius No. 1 Fire Museum Committee is creating a Remembrance Walkway at 14 Summer Street. A part of the Peterborough Fire Station Complex, it will be composed of red bricks personally engraved to honor, recognize, and remember friends, businesses, and associations.  Plans also call for a garden area and stone benches, which will provide a place for rest and reflection.

The more than 2,000 personalized bricks in the Remembrance Walkway are available to individuals, organizations, and businesses. In addition to bricks, the placement of other types of engraved stones in the walkway will be considered for acceptance on an individual basis. All profits from the sale of the bricks, which cost $50 each, will contribute to the preservation and maintenance of the Fire Museum.

Each personalized brick measures 4" x 8". Engraving can be up to three lines, with 16 characters per line. Special 8"x8", and 12" x 12" bricks are also available.

Benches and other memorials are available as well.
